It was measuring performance where it could,
and calling that intelligence."
Since couple of years, the founders of what would become Astraal Mind Solutions spent months after months visiting schools, universities, and corporate L&D functions. They carried one question everywhere they went: what do you actually know about your people's intelligence?
The answer, almost without exception, was some version of the same thing. Schools knew which students passed and failed. Universities knew degree outcomes and placement rates. Enterprises knew performance ratings and training completion percentages. Nobody knew how their people actually thought, learned, or grew. Nobody had ever had a system that could tell them.
This wasn't ignorance. It was an infrastructure gap. The tools that existed — LMS platforms, HR software, assessment systems — were built to manage and track, not to understand. They were transactional at their core: did this person complete the thing? yes or no? The question of whether the person grew, whether the institution grew with them, and whether either of them was ready for what came next — that question had no home in any system.
Astraal was founded in February 2024 and became a company in 2026 to build that home. Not as an incremental improvement to existing software. As a genuinely new category: human intelligence infrastructure — a living, continuous, multi-dimensional understanding of how people think, what they are capable of, and who they are becoming. Built on seven questions that have never had a good institutional answer. Built for India first, because India has the most to gain and the least tolerance for the cost of getting it wrong.
